What is the ruling on donating a kidney in exchange for money, and is it accepted in Saudi hospitals?

It is absolutely impermissible to sell human organs, and it is not permissible to subject them to sale under any circumstances. However, if a reward or gift is offered to the donor, and their soul does not covet it, then there is no blame upon them for taking it. It is not permissible to transfer organs or dispose of the body of someone who is declared brain dead unless their breathing ceases, their heart stops, and the legal signs of death appear on them.
