What is the ruling on utilizing aborted fetuses in organ transplantation surgeries?

It is not permissible to use fetuses as a source of organs except in special cases, for trafficking in fetuses is a crime. Abortion is not permissible for the purpose of using the fetus for organ transplantation; rather, abortion is restricted to Sharia or medical necessity to save the mother's life, with the obligation to preserve the fetus's life if it is viable. Organ transplantation operations should not be subjected to commercial purposes, and a trustworthy body must supervise these operations.
