Is it permissible in Islamic law for a man to marry his wife's niece?

It is not permissible to combine a woman with her sister's daughter due to the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "A woman should not be combined in marriage with her paternal aunt, nor with her maternal aunt." As for women's jealousy regarding polygyny, it is a natural matter. The Mothers of the Believers used to feel jealous, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not forbid them from it. However, what is forbidden is for a woman to seek divorce, or to ask her husband to divorce his second wife. Polygyny has been legislated for many benefits.
