Who are the peoples whom the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, passed by, whose lips are described as being like the lips of camels, who are fed embers that exit from their lower parts, and who are crying out to Allah?

The people mentioned in the Hadith are those who consume the property of orphans, as stated in the Hadith of Abu Umamah, reported by Al-Tabarani, which describes a people whose lips are like those of camels, swallowing a stone that exits from their lower parts. Jibreel explained them as those who consume the property of orphans. Similarly, Ibn Abi Hatim narrated from Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saw on the night of Al-Isra' men with lips like those of camels, into whose mouths a rock of fire was cast, exiting from their lower parts. Jibreel informed him that they were those who unjustly consume the property of orphans.
