Does not loving money contradict the noble verse: "And you love wealth with an ardent love," and is one sinful for that?

The characteristic of īthār (altruism) is commendable. Allah described the Ansar (Helpers) with it and praised them, saying: "and prefer [them] over themselves, even though they are in [dire] poverty. And whoever is protected from the stinginess of his soul - it is those who are the successful." The Muslim praises Allah for it and asks Him for steadfastness. This characteristic does not contradict the verse: "But you prefer the worldly life, while the Hereafter is better and more enduring." For the verse speaks about human nature, its love for wealth, and prioritizing this world over the Hereafter, especially concerning disbelievers and those with a materialistic outlook.
