Is it permissible for two daughters whose hair has completely fallen out to wear a wig?

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade hair extensions, and he cursed the one who adds hair and the one who has it added. It is permissible to place pure hair on the head without connecting it, especially when there is a need, as scholars have stated. The understanding of "connecting" is that if she does not connect it, but rather places it on her head without connecting it to the hair, then it is permissible.
