What is the guidance concerning the recitation of "There is no god but Allah alone, without partner; to Him belongs all sovereignty and praise; He gives life and causes death, and He is over all things competent" ten times—is it recited after the Fajr, Asr, and Maghrib prayers, or only after Fajr and Maghrib?

Al-Mundhiri mentioned the virtue of this remembrance: "There is no god but Allah alone, without partner; to Him belongs all sovereignty and all praise; He gives life and causes death; and He is over all things competent," after the Fajr, Maghrib, and 'Asr prayers:

After Fajr prayer: Whoever recites it ten times while still sitting with his legs folded and before speaking, ten good deeds will be recorded for him, ten evil deeds will be erased, and his rank will be raised by ten degrees. He will be in protection from all harm and guarded from Satan, and no sin will overtake him except polytheism with Allah. And it was added therein: "In His hand is all good," and "For each time he says it, it will be equivalent to freeing a believing slave." After 'Asr prayer: Whoever recites them will be granted a reward similar to saying them after Fajr. After Maghrib prayer: Whoever recites it ten times, Allah will send him guardians who will protect him from Satan until morning. Ten obligatory good deeds will be recorded for him, ten grave evil deeds will be erased from him, and it will be equivalent to freeing ten believing slaves. Generally (when he wakes up or after Maghrib): Whoever recites it ten times when he wakes up, ten good deeds will be recorded for him, ten evil deeds will be erased from him, and his rank will be raised by ten degrees. It will be equivalent to freeing four slaves (or ten slaves in another narration), and they will be guardians for him until evening. And whoever recites them after Maghrib prayer, then the same applies to him until morning.
