Is it permissible to slaughter the Udhiyah (sacrificial animal) with the intention of both the sacrifice and the 'Aqiqah (sacrifice for a newborn) simultaneously?

Scholars have differed on the issue of combining the Udhiyah (sacrifice) and the 'Aqiqah (sacrifice for a newborn). Some have permitted it, such as the Hanbalis, while others have prohibited it due to the difference in the purpose of each. Adopting the view of prohibition is more appropriate for those who are able, whereas for those who are unable, following the madhhab of Ahmad is more suitable.
