What is the difference between the son of adultery and the son of illegitimacy, and is the son of illegitimacy considered to be one whose sperm originated from unlawful money, even though his parents are married?

"Ibn al-zina" (son of fornication) is a jurisprudential term for a child born out of wedlock. As for "ibn al-haram" (son of the forbidden/unlawful), it is a common colloquial term that may refer to a child born out of wedlock, or to a child whose sperm originated from unlawfully acquired money. This latter usage is incorrect because the child is not to blame. Emphasis should be placed on questions whose knowledge is beneficial in this world and the Hereafter.
