How can supplications be answered when we are eating from unlawful earnings, and is it true that the destiny of whoever feeds his children from unlawful earnings is the Fire?

The questioner and her mother must advise their guardian and warn him of God's punishment if he continues to earn unlawful money. If all his sources of livelihood are unlawful, then it is not permissible for them to eat from it if they are able to earn. If he has lawful money and unlawful money, and the unlawful money is more, then scholars have differed between prohibition and permissibility. However, in cases of necessity and the absence of any other means of livelihood, there is no blame on them for eating from it, and the sin is on him alone, as Allah Almighty says: "And He has explained to you in detail what He has forbidden you, except what you are compelled to [eat]" and His saying: "But whoever is compelled, neither desiring [it] nor transgressing, there is no sin upon him." Necessity is determined by its extent and does not prevent the acceptance of supplication.
