What is the ruling on one who curses his wife with the phrase "O vulva of your mother," without intending divorce or repudiation, and is anything required of him given the prevalence of this phrase in his country?

This ugly phrase by which the man insulted his wife does not necessitate ẓihār or divorce, as long as he did not intend either by it. He must repent to Allah for this obscenity, for "Allah detests the obscene, foul-mouthed person," and "The believer is not a slanderer, nor a curser, nor an obscene person, nor a foul-mouthed person."
