What is the text of the hadith: "Beef is a disease and its milk is a cure," and is it authentic?

There are narrations stating that cow's milk is a cure for every disease. Among them is the hadith from Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Hold fast to cow's milk, for it grazes from every tree, and it is a cure for every disease." In another narration: "Hold fast to cow's milk and its ghee, and beware of its meat, for its milk and ghee are medicine and a cure, and its meat is a disease."

A group of hadith masters deemed this hadith weak. Some said it contradicts the fact that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, sacrificed a cow. Others interpreted it as specific to the people of Hijaz due to the nature of their climate.
