What is the ruling and method for a husband to take back his wife after divorcing her for the third time, knowing that she suffers from a mental disorder and that the three divorces occurred during the husband's fits of anger due to her behaviors resulting from her disorder, and she was not receiving treatment previously, but is now undergoing treatment?

If a man divorces his wife with the third pronouncement, she becomes irrevocably separated from him (baynunah kubra) and is not lawful for him until she marries another man in a valid marriage and he consummates it with her, and then the second husband divorces her. At that point, it becomes lawful for the first husband to marry her again. This is in accordance with the Almighty's saying: ﴿And if he has divorced her [for the third time], then she is not lawful to him afterward until she marries another husband. And if he [the second husband] divorces her, there is no blame upon them [the former husband and wife] for returning to each other if they think that they can observe the limits of Allah. These are the limits of Allah, which He makes clear to a people who know.﴾ [Al-Baqarah: 230]. Divorce pronounced in a state of anger is effective, according to the preponderant opinion, unless the angry person has completely lost his awareness.
