Is the fast of one from whom a drop of semen was intentionally released before sunrise while he was fasting, then he woke up and performed ghusl, valid?

If a drop of mani (seminal fluid) is discharged intentionally during a Ramadan day, then one must repent to Allah and make up the fast for that day whose fast was invalidated. However, if it is discharged unintentionally, such as during sleep, then the fast is valid and there is nothing upon the fasting person.
