Is supplicating to be the richest man in the world considered an transgression in supplication?

Transgression in supplication means exceeding its limits, such as supplicating for what is not permissible by Sharīʿah or by custom, and raising one's voice with it. This includes asking for the stations of the prophets, or being overly elaborate in rhymed prose, or asking for what Allah does not do, or for assistance in forbidden acts. A person's supplication to be the richest man in the world is not considered transgression, but what is more important is richness of the soul and self-sufficiency from people, and that a Muslim should ask for guidance, piety, chastity, and wealth, and seek refuge in Allah from disbelief and poverty, and ask Allah for richness of the soul and for assistance in fulfilling the rights of wealth, and seek refuge in Him from the arrogance of wealth and the trial of money, and take the means to achieve that.
