What is the difference between the narrators of the Qur'an and the narrators of the Gospel?

There is no room for comparison between the narrators of the Qur’an and the Gospel. The Qur’an was narrated by the Companions and transmitted by the Ummah generation after generation with authentic and continuous chains of transmission. As for the Gospel sent down from Allah, its narrators are unknown. The Gospels currently in existence are attributed to their authors, and there are no chains of transmission connecting them to these authors.
