Is a Muslim woman obligated to marry? And if the answer is yes, is she excused for not marrying anyone else if she cannot find someone who works for his hereafter, fears God, and is among the knowledgeable, pious, and ascetic?

Marriage is prescribed and encouraged in Islam. If a Muslim woman fears falling into temptation, she should marry someone who is compatible with her religiously and morally.

Regarding the questioner's statement: "a person who works only for his Hereafter," if she means by this abstaining from work, then this contradicts the Sunnah (definition) and the Qur'an. A husband must work to provide for himself and his family.

However, if she means a man who works and provides for his family, and yet is righteous in himself, then this type of person is numerous. It should be known that a husband is a human being; he errs and forgets.
