Is marriage obligatory for a woman capable of avoiding indecencies throughout her life, out of devotion to her religion and to avoid the distractions of marriage?

Allah Almighty and His Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded marriage. It is narrated in the Hadith: "O young men, whoever among you can afford it, let him marry, for it is more effective in lowering the gaze and guarding the private parts. And whoever cannot afford it, let him fast, for it will be a shield for him." Furthermore, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, responded to those who abstained from marriage by saying: "Whoever turns away from my Sunnah is not of me," warning against monasticism. Therefore, a woman should not remain without a husband.
