Is it permissible, Islamically, for a mother to give all the gold she possesses to her daughter and disinherit her sons, or to bequeath everything to her daughter?

It is not permissible for this woman to single out some of her children with a gift without a legitimate reason, due to the Hadith of Nu'man ibn Bashir, in which the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to him: "Fear Allah and be just among your children."

Nor will her will be executed for anything from the inheritance to an heir, due to the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Indeed, Allah has given every rightful person his right, so there is no will for an heir," and in another narration: "Unless the heirs wish otherwise."
