Are long garments that touch the ground for the purpose of concealment considered ritually impure, making it impermissible to pray in them or with shoes after walking in them on paved roads?

Umm Salama's hadith mentions that if the bottom of a garment passes over an impure spot, the pure ground that follows it purifies it, regardless of whether the impurity is liquid or dry. Similarly, a hadith narrated by Abu Dawud states that a foul-smelling path is purified by the clean path that follows it. Ibn Al-Qayyim pointed out that the Lawgiver made it easy concerning the purification of a woman's hem, and that the Prophet, peace be upon him, permitted a woman to let down her hem by a cubit, and that the ground purifies it. The fundamental principle is that a path is pure unless the presence of impurity is confirmed.
