A pilgrim in a state of is forbidden from wearing trousers unless he cannot find a loincloth (rida'). An ignorant person is not sinful and owes no (expiatory offering). The marriage contract is valid if it was concluded before entering the state of ihram, because a pilgrim in ihram is prohibited from concluding a marriage contract.
