If "jana" is a verb, it means "to pick fruit." If it is a noun, it means "that which is picked." As for "Juwana," its meaning was not found in linguistic dictionaries. However, in the dictionary of names' meanings, it is a feminine proper noun, Arabicized from the Persian name "Jawan," which means "youth" or "young man." Arabs added the taa marbuta (ة) to it, thinking it was for feminization. There is no objection to naming with it.
