What is the wisdom behind the destruction and starvation in Palestine, and is it a trial from Allah or an unjust rule? What is the least that can be offered to help the people of Palestine, and is praying for them enough?

All of Allah's decrees are carried out with perfect wisdom. Calamities purify believers, atone for their sins, elevate their ranks, reveal acts of worship beloved by Allah, choose martyrs from among them, and distinguish the good from the wicked. The oppressor's sinfulness increases, making him deserving of Allah's punishment and annihilation. Allah says: "And do not lose heart nor grieve, and you shall be superior if you are believers..." And He, glory be to Him, says: "And let not those grieve you who rush into disbelief. Indeed, they will not harm Allah at all..." Allah grants respite to the oppressor so that his sinfulness may increase, until He seizes him with the grasp of an Exalted, All-Powerful One. The magnitude of the reward corresponds to the magnitude of the trial. When Allah loves a people, He tests them. So, whoever is content will have contentment, and whoever is discontent will have discontentment.
