What is the expiation for a sister who helped her sister abort her fetus in the seventh month, which she conceived through fornication, knowing that the person who committed the act later married the sister?

If a woman actively participates with another woman in aborting a fetus, she is a partner in its blood-money (diyah). If the fetus was born alive and then died, then both are liable for the full blood-money and expiation (kaffarah (definition)) for each of them. If it was born dead, then both are liable for the gharrrah (five camels or fifty mithqals of gold), and it is more prudent for each of them to expiate by fasting for two consecutive months.

However, if she did not participate directly in the abortion but assisted with money or guidance, then she is not liable for blood-money or expiation; rather, she is only required to repent.
