What is the ruling of Islamic law concerning a husband who swore to his wife that she would not enter the house until a certain date, and he now wishes to take her back after having sworn while being overcome by anger?

If a man swears that his wife will not enter the house until a certain date, then if his oath was by Allah, he must offer expiation for a broken oath (kaffarat yameen), and his wife is permitted to enter. If his oath was by divorce, then if he intended to suspend divorce (ta'liq al-talaq), it occurs if the wife enters the house, and he is permitted to take her back (raj'a) if it was the first or second divorce. If he intended only an oath, then its expiation is the expiation for a broken oath.
