What is the ruling on men wearing diamonds, fake gold, gold-plated items, chains, bracelets, and earrings, with supporting evidence?

It is forbidden for a man to wear gold due to the established prophetic traditions that prohibit it, and describe those who wear it in this world as being deprived of the gold of Paradise. As for imitation gold, it is permissible to wear it, but it is preferred to avoid it for fear of negative assumptions or emulation. Regarding gold-plated items, if the plating yields gold when rubbed or placed on fire, then it is forbidden. However, if it is merely a color, there is no harm in it. It is permissible for a man to wear rings or watches made of precious metals other than gold, such as diamonds, as long as they are not women's jewelry. It is forbidden for a man to adorn himself with women's jewelry such as bracelets, necklaces, and earrings, as this constitutes imitation of them. One must advise a friend to stop wearing an earring if it contains gold, or involves imitation of women or disbelievers.
