What is the authenticity of the hadith attributed to Allah Almighty: "He lied who claimed My love, for when night fell upon him, he slept and left Me"?

This statement is not among the Qudsi hadiths from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, nor has it been narrated with a sound or weak chain of transmission. Rather, it is reported from Al-Fudayl ibn Iyad and Abu Sulayman Al-Darani. Abu Nu'aym transmitted it in "Hilyat al-Awliya" and others from Al-Fudayl, and Ibn Asakir transmitted it from Abu Sulayman Al-Darani. Such words are mentioned for admonition and reflection, and they are not the words of Allah or His Messenger, nor do they constitute independent legal proof.
