Why do I sometimes feel the difficulty of Islamic life and a lack of hope in continuing it?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

The Islamic way of life is the best life. Allah promised a good life to those who believe and do righteous deeds, and a constricted life to those who turn away. Allah created the universe and humanity for His worship and testing. He promised Paradise to the good-doers and Hellfire to the transgressors. Attaining bliss requires patience and enduring hardship. Islam began as something strange and will return as something strange. Adherence to the religion in the end times is like grasping hot coals, and those who strive will receive a great reward. One should not despair of spreading good, for every step is a charity, and Allah will not let your steps go to waste. One must trust in Allah's promise of victory and empowerment. Adherence to the religion requires steadfastness despite tribulations, and the ultimate outcome is for the righteous. The verses of the Quran encourage adherence to the religion and patience, and remind us that this world is fleeting. One must ponder the Quran, as it is a source of patience and steadfastness.
