Am I entitled to marry a girl I love and whose family I have spoken with?

If love is merely an inclination and does not transgress into something forbidden, but rather motivates one to marry a righteous girl, then there is no harm in it, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Nothing is seen for two who love each other better than marriage." However, if love has led or will lead to forbidden acts such as gazing or private seclusion (khalwa), then it is forbidden, even if marriage is intended. The parents' consent to this without a marriage contract is considered 'dayouthah' (pimping/cuckolding).
