What is the ruling on prophetic praises (Al-Madaih Al-Nabawiyah) in religion? May Allah reward you.

Prophetic praises (madaih nabawiyyah) are permissible, and their reciter will be rewarded if his intention is good. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, approved of Hassan ibn Thabit's praise and defense of him, provided that these praises are free from exaggeration, seeking help from him (istighathah), or amorous expressions that are unfitting for his status. Otherwise, they become impermissible and could lead to impiety (fisq), innovation (bid'ah), or disbelief (kufr). As for people gathering to listen to these praises in the form of a mawlid (celebration of the Prophet's birthday), it is a misguided innovation (bid'ah dalalah) because the default rule for acts of worship is restriction (tawqif), and the righteous predecessors did not do it. The perfection of love and veneration for him (the Prophet) is achieved by following his Sunnah and spreading his message.
