What is the share of each heir—a husband, a paternal half-brother, a paternal half-sister, and a full sister—for a deceased woman?

The method of distributing the inheritance cannot be clarified except after an unambiguous and exhaustive enumeration of the heirs. If it is assumed that the woman left only her husband, her full sister, and her paternal brother and sister, then the husband receives half, as Allah Almighty says: "And for you is half of what your wives leave if they have no child." Her full sister receives half, as Allah Almighty says: "If a man dies, leaving no child but a sister, she will have half of what he leaves." There is nothing for the paternal brother and sister, because they are 'asabah (residuaries) who inherit what remains, and nothing remains for them after the shares of the husband and the full sister. Thus, the inheritance is divided into two shares: one share for the husband, and one share for the full sister.
