What is the ruling on allocating prizes, in the form of digging wells, to those in charge of remote Sharia courses, and does one thereby earn the reward for providing water?

This matter, which is motivating participants in a scientific course by promising them a share in the reward of digging a well for those in need, provided they commit or excel, is permissible. This is because involving a living person in the reward of charity is permissible, and conditioning a promise upon a permissible condition is permissible. The fundamental principle is that conditions are valid and permissible, and based on the saying of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him: "Muslims are bound by their conditions."
