Is a woman's not marrying a punishment and wrath from God, and what is the solution to the problem of spinsterhood in Islamic countries?

Everything happens by the decree of Allah, and marriage is among these things. However, Allah has commanded us to take the necessary means. The most important means for marriage are steadfastness in Allah's religion and abandoning sins, for obedience brings sustenance and goodness, while sins cause difficulties and deprive one of sustenance. Indeed, the obedient may be put in hardship and tested, and the disobedient may be granted blessings as a trial.
