It is not permissible for a Quran teacher to mention students' recitation errors for the purpose of amusement and laughter, as this constitutes backbiting or mockery, both of which are forbidden by the Quran. One must be cautious not to mock people in connection with the Quran, lest it lead to belittling or disrespecting the Quran itself. Furthermore, joking is conditional upon not involving mockery or ridicule of a Muslim. Moreover, such an act may alienate the student, break their spirit, and encourage their peers to mock them.
