Is it permissible to play video games that depict zombie combat and include Nazi symbols, while believing that it is fictional and that Allah is the Giver of life and death, and with the intention of enjoyment and cooperation, not addiction?

If the game is determined to be forbidden, then it must be avoided absolutely. Playing it is unlawful, even if rarely, and even if with the intention of enjoyment or bringing happiness, and even with the belief that Allah alone gives life to the dead. That which is forbidden must be ceased immediately and perpetually. The Muslim youth must fill his time with what benefits him in his religion and his worldly life, and beware of becoming enslaved to entertainment devices and games, for he is responsible for his time.
