Rugby is forbidden due to the roughness, violence, and incitement to conflict and collision it involves, as the logic within it is for the stronger, and victory is for him by any means. However, if it can be regulated with controls that prevent aggression and organized in a way that involves no harm or violation of Sharia, then it is permissible.
