The answer

The 기본 rule concerning the meat slaughtered by Muslims is that it conforms to the rulings of Islamic law, and it is permissible to eat it, unless proven otherwise. In case of doubt regarding the recitation of the Basmala (invocation of God's name) over it, it is sunnah (recommended) to recite it and then eat from it.

As for imported meats, if they are from animals slaughtered by Muslims, it is permissible to eat them. If they are from animals slaughtered by the People of the Book (Jews and Christians) and it is not proven that they kill animals by electric shock or strangulation, then it is permissible to eat them; otherwise, it is not. However, meat slaughtered by those who are neither Muslims nor People of the Book is not permissible to eat.

It is not a condition for the slaughterer to be free from فسق (transgression) or بدعة (innovation); it suffices that he is a Muslim. For imported meats, the testimony of a trustworthy Muslim or a recognized authority is sufficient to establish that the Dhakah (Islamic slaughter) was performed according to Sharia.

As for other foods that are not slaughtered meat, doubt concerning them does not render them impermissible, because the basic rule for them is permissibility.
