Is it permissible to eat the meat of non-Muslim countries, in accordance with the Almighty’s saying: "The food of those who were given the Scripture is lawful for you and your food is lawful for them"?

Eating meat imported from non-Muslim countries: What is forbidden among them, such as pork, is absolutely forbidden. As for what is originally permissible, it becomes forbidden if it was not slaughtered according to Islamic law, or if the slaughterer was a disbeliever who is not from the People of the Book. It becomes permissible if it was slaughtered according to Islamic law and the slaughterer was a Muslim or from the People of the Book.
