Do the souls of the dead communicate with the living in a wakeful state, and is what a person claims—that the soul of his female relative comes to him at night, speaks to him, and tries to have sexual intercourse with him—true?

What is apparent from the texts indicates the impossibility of the dead communicating with their families while awake, such as His — Exalted be He — saying: "And behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected" and His saying: "Allah takes the souls at the time of their death, and those that do not die [He takes] during their sleep. Then He keeps those for which He has decreed death and releases the others for a specified term." If someone claims this, it is most likely from the delusion of jinn and devils. Therefore, one must persevere in reciting remembrances and not respond to these attempts due to their danger to faith and morals.
