Is it permissible to work in the central bank and continue to do so until another job is found, and what is the ruling on the salaries earned therefrom?

If a bank does not adhere to the rulings of Islamic Sharia in its dealings, it is not permissible to work there, because that is considered cooperation in sin. Allah Almighty says: {And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression} [Al-Ma'idah: 2].

A Muslim must fear Allah and seek livelihood through permissible means, and Allah will provide for them from where they do not expect, as He Almighty said: {And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out And will provide for him from where he does not expect} [At-Talaq: 2-3].

As for the salaries that were received previously, if they were spent and nothing remains of them, then you must repent. If something remains of them, and you have money to compensate for it, then spend it on acts of righteousness such as charities and sponsoring orphans; for the sin of usury is grave.
