Is it permissible for a woman observing iddah to leave her home to memorize the Qur'an at a summer center designated for righteous women?

A woman observing 'iddah (waiting period) after her husband's death is not permitted to leave her home except out of necessity or need. Memorizing the Qur'an in summer camps does not fall under this category. In fact, jurists have prohibited her from leaving for the obligatory Hajj. If she leaves for Hajj and her husband dies on the way, close to her home, she must return and observe her 'iddah in her house. However, if it is possible for her to go out to read during the day and return at night, then there is no harm in that.
