Is comparing Sharia to man-made law a denigration of Sharia?

It is permissible to compare Sharia with man-made laws if the intention is sound, such as to demonstrate the comprehensiveness of Sharia and its superiority over man-made laws, and its inclusion of public interests, provided that this is done by people of knowledge and insight known for their sound عقيدة (creed), good conduct, and extensive knowledge of Sharia and its objectives.
