Does the way of thinking that disregards reputation and people's opinions, and prefers to please oneself after pleasing Allah, contradict the rulings of Islam, knowing that this does not affect respectful and kind interaction with others?

Accepting advice publicly, thanking the advisor, and attempting to correct oneself, indicates the absence of arrogance. Prioritizing Allah's pleasure above all else is a good deed.

However, ignoring people's opinions and not caring about what they say is not a sound approach. This is because a Muslim is keen on maintaining their reputation to be emulated in good deeds, and so that it does not become a pretext for distorting the religion. Therefore, the Sharia encourages avoiding situations of doubt.
