How can a menstruating woman perform the Istikhara prayer, especially if she needs it in a short amount of time?

"For someone unable to perform the Istikhara (guidance-seeking prayer) with both prayer and supplication, such as a menstruating woman or a woman in postpartum bleeding (nifas), performing Istikhara with supplication only is sufficient. This is the view of the Hanafis, Malikis, and Shafi'is. The wording of the supplication is: 'O Allah, I seek Your guidance by Your knowledge, and I seek Your power by Your power, and I ask You from Your immense bounty. For indeed, You are able and I am not able, and You know and I do not know, and You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if You know that this matter (and he names it) is good for me in my religion, my livelihood, and the outcome of my affairs – or he said: in the short term and the long term – then decree it for me, and make it easy for me, and then bless it for me. And if You know that this matter is evil for me in my religion, my livelihood, and the outcome of my affairs – or he said: in the short term and the long term – then turn it away from me, and turn me away from it, and decree for me good wherever it may be, and then make me content with it.'"
