What is the ruling of the Shari'ah concerning a father who does not provide for his children and prefers over them a wife of ill repute, while their paternal uncle takes care of them?

The father must fulfill his duties towards his children and wives with justice in terms of overnight stays and financial support. He should be advised to be gentle and reminded of God if he falls short. If necessary, the children and wife may sue him, and this will not be considered disobedience, while being careful not to offend him.

As for his marriage to a woman described as "dishonorable and imprisoned for moral offenses," it might be due to her innocence of what was attributed to her, or her repentance. It is cautioned against accusing her of adultery without proof. If there is clear suspicion regarding her behavior, he can be advised to discipline her or divorce her.

A change in a person's condition does not necessarily mean they are bewitched. However, if there is a strong suspicion of witchcraft, he can be advised to perform ruqyah (Islamic exorcism), while being careful not to accuse a specific person of witchcraft without clear evidence.
