The answer

If the marriage contract for a woman has been concluded, fulfilling all its pillars and conditions, it is permissible for the husband to consummate the marriage before the wedding night. However, it is preferable to observe the prevailing customs in the country, in consideration of the feelings of the wife's family, and as a precaution against a separation or pregnancy occurring before the wedding, which would cause embarrassment.

You can try to convince your father to drop the matter, but if he is not convinced, then obey him; for he has not commanded you to do anything forbidden or to abandon an obligation.

The wife has the right to refuse intimacy before the payment of the advance portion of the dowry.
