Will a Muslim be held accountable if his actions before non-Muslims are erroneous, leading to their hatred of Islam?

He who causes another to turn away from the true religion bears the burden of that sin and the sins of those who act upon it thereafter. As for him who causes a disbeliever to love Islam, he will be rewarded for that. This does not contradict the principle of "No bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another," for everyone bears his own burden, and he who causes another to go astray bears the burden of causing that.
