Is it permissible to give a poor, needy mother from the interest (riba) earned from a bank, especially since relatives are more deserving of kindness?

You must withdraw money from the usurious bank and dispose of its interest. Failure to do so is a sin and exposes one to divine punishment. It is not permissible to give this interest to a needy mother, because her maintenance is obligatory upon her son if the father is in hardship. However, if the son is poor, then it is permissible for him to take this money.
