Does God replace evil deeds with good deeds in this world, or after entering Hellfire, and are good deeds sufficient to expiate a multitude of sins?
Allah is vast in forgiveness. Allah Almighty said: (Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.") And in what he relates from his Lord, he says: "Whoever meets Me with sins the size of the earth, without associating anything with Me, I will meet him with forgiveness the size of it." And He replaces the evil deeds of the repentant with good deeds: (Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous deeds. For them Allah will change their evil deeds into good ones. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.) And the one who repents from a sin is like one who has no sin.
