What is the ruling on one who suffers from the emission of wind during ablution and prayer? Does the ruling on one afflicted by سلس ( سلس البول: urinary incontinence, سلس الريح: continuous emission of wind/gas, سلس المذي: continuous emission of prostatic fluid) apply to him? Is he permitted to continue his prayer if he is certain that wind has been emitted? And what should he do if wind is emitted while he is performing congregational prayer?

We fear the questioner may be afflicted with waswasah (obsessive whispering). If not, and they are certain of what they mentioned, then they fall under the ruling of one with salasil (incontinence), because they are afflicted with a continuous impurity whose time of cessation is unknown. In this case, they should perform ablution for each prayer after its time has begun and pray as much as they wish until that time expires. What is emitted from them in the form of wind, whether praying in congregation or alone, does not harm them.
